The DQ6 is the amplifier at the top of an EM Acoustics system, and the number that matters is the one that does not change: 1500 W per channel into 8, 4 or 2 ohms. Four of those channels, in one box, with DSP on everything going in and out.

The power inlet is a planning question
The DQ6 takes PowerCON 32 A. That is not a detail to discover at load-in, so tell us what the supply looks like at the amp position and we will make sure the cable that leaves here lands on it. It is the single most common thing worth confirming on a DQ6 booking.
Link outs mean fewer splits
Every input carries an XLR link out, so a feed can be passed from one amplifier to the next without a separate split. In a multi-amp rack that is a real saving in cable and in things to go wrong — worth saying how many boxes you are running so the tails are made up to suit.
What to tell us
- The cabinets, and how many per channel.
- Analogue or AES, and whether you are linking between amplifiers.
- The supply at the amp position — PowerCON 32 A is what it wants.
- Whether it is going on the control network, and who is driving it.
- Speaker cable lengths, and whether you want it racked.
We hold seven, so a full amp rack is a normal booking. We can supply them loose, racked, or as part of a configured EM Acoustics system with the cabinets and cabling.
