The Epson EB-PU2010B is a 10,000-lumen 3LCD laser installation projector with native WUXGA resolution, HDR support and Epson 4K Enhancement. The enhancement system is not native 4K; it uses pixel shifting to increase displayed detail.
Choose the lens from the geometry
The projector is supplied as a body without a standard lens. Lens choice must be based on the required image width and the measured lens-to-screen distance. Epson supports a broad family of motorised lenses, including ultra-short-, short-, medium- and long-throw options.
Epson rates both white and colour light output at 10,000 lumens in normal mode and 7,000 lumens in economy mode. Real-world brightness changes with the lens, zoom position, screen size, calibration, screen surface and ambient light.
Connections and installation
The EB-PU2010B accepts HDMI, HDBaseT, DVI-D, VGA and 3G-SDI, with a 3G-SDI loop output. It also provides Ethernet and RS-232 control, optional wireless networking and NFC-assisted configuration.
Motorised lens shift, zoom, focus and lens memories support repeatable installation. Edge blending, stacking and projection-mapping tools are available, while Epson’s optional ELPEC01 camera adds automated alignment features.
