The Epson EB-L1755U is a discontinued 15,000-lumen 3LCD laser installation projector that remains useful for large-format event and venue projection. It has native WUXGA resolution with Epson 4K Enhancement; it is not a native 4K projector.
Brightness and optics
Epson rates white and colour light output at 15,000 lumens in normal mode and 10,500 lumens in economy mode. Actual screen brightness depends on the lens, zoom position, image size, screen gain, calibration and ambient light.
The projector accepts interchangeable motorised lenses. Lens shift, zoom, focus and up to ten lens-memory positions support repeatable installation, but the correct lens must be chosen from the measured throw distance and required image width.
Installation requirements
The laser light source is rated for 20,000 hours in normal operation and 30,000 hours in economy mode. That is a light-source durability figure, not a promise that brightness remains unchanged or that the projector needs no servicing.
The unit supports installation features including edge blending, geometric correction and portrait operation. Use a compatible Epson mount or properly rated frame, all specified fixing points and an appropriate secondary safety. Rigging must be planned and completed by competent personnel.
